They say, “we are wasting our money taming maggots”, on the defeat in the last four matches of 2008-09 season when the team of Bluebirds were on the top of their game. But the same time when the team lost in the FA cup finals at the hands of Premiership Portsmouth. Cries of mixed passions aroused the crowd with phrases like, “we could do better than that”, while the group chuckled with more sympathetic lines, “at least we did our best..there was nothing left to be picked”.

The club plays its recent and near future matches with stars like Eddie Johnson with number 9 shirt of the Bluebirds, however there is much skeptics about the defender Roger Johnson who’s fee structure is yet to be resolved .

As the leaving of Darren Purse and rumors of Roger Johnson being slammed to other squads in the premier league, eyeballs are now eyed on Gabor Gyepes, the foreign player from Hungary to motivate the Cardiff city once again in its pinnacle.

The Cardiff City Football Club is known by the name of Cardiff Blues. It is a soccer team that is based in the city of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, UK. The Cardiff City Stadium is the home of this football club.

Although the history of the team is not a decent one but they have recently gained good ground in the last few years and have become a force to reckon with. To the people of Cardiff, it is a matter of pride and joy to support their home side.

The Bluebirds stated their seasonal matches for this year against Scunthorpe United at home ground at the Cardiff. This is a relief as they will kick start the season with home support. They are starting the season in a new stadium specially erected for the purpose. In the winter, the team will face another Welsh team, the Swansea City and the supporters will have to travel to Swansea to cheer them up.

During August this season, the Carling Cup will be waiting for the team. This is same tournament, about 2 seasons ago Liverpool, they played awfully. In the first round, the team will be hoping to start a new chapter against the Dagenham and Redbridge team. The match will be played out at Cardiff in the new purpose built stadium. This supporters will be hoping the new stadium will prove to be lucky and a moral booster for the remaining of the season.

Fall is the best time of year. No not just because of the cooler weather and the leaves on the ground, but because it is finally time for some football.

The NFL season is awesome because after several weeks of virtually nothing on television as far as sports, suddenly you are drenched with dozens of games every weekend. Sure I can take in a baseball game live, but sitting and watching it on TV puts a man to sleep. At least the Beijing Olympics provided some sports activity this year.

I like both the college and the NFL games for different reasons. The passion involved in the college game is like nothing else. Every weekend, hundreds of thousands of screaming supporters fill up local stadiums in an effort to help the home team to victory. With the increase of network television contracts, there are usually great games on every Thursday and Saturday night as well. While I don’t really like the BCS system that is in place in the college game, one benefit to the setup is that every regular season matchup really matters. A college team could get away with one loss during the year, but if they want a shot at the title, then they just can’t afford to lose more than once.

The NFL is a different beast, but just as good in my opinion. Again the passion is amazing, especially in the great NFL cities like Boston, Denver, Chicago, and Kansas City. What makes the NFL great for many fans is the advent of fantasy football. Sure some guys go a little overboard, in that they use every waking moment evaluating their roster and proposing ridiculous trades to the other owners in the league. Just get started with the right set of guys and gals, then fantasy football makes all of the matchups much more interesting.

This year I had to re-evaluate my TV, as Cox continued to disappoint me as far at their service and pricing.
